Secret Big Sister is designed to create an opportunity for middle and high school girls to develop a discipling relationship with our elementary girls.

Time commitment : 15-20 minutes a month

This semester, you have a chance to be an active Secret Big Sister to our elementary girls ( a.k.a. little sisters or littles)!

What that looks like:

Each month, as you learn and grow, take time to pray about what you should share with your little sister.
Fill out a nugget card. A nugget is something you learned about God and your personal relationship with Him.
The card will end with a prayer for your little sister. Pray that prayer for the remainder of the month.

If you choose to accept this role you will receive envelopes and fill-in nugget cards .

You will be told who your little sisters are. Littles will not know who is sending them all of the amazing notes…until the end!

At the end of the semester the Big Sisters will host a “Reveal Soiree” where your littles get to meet and connect with you!!!.

Become a Big Sister!

Parents of Little Sisters:

Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Each month, your daughter will receive a monthly nugget card from a Secret Big Sister (SBS- one of our First Student girls 6th-12th grade). The nugget will be something her SBS learned about God and her relationship with Him. The nugget card ends with a prayer for your daughter. The SBS will be told who her little sister is. Your daughter will not know who is sending her all of the amazing notes…until the end!

At the end of the semester the Big Sisters will host a “Reveal Soiree” where your daughter gets to meet and connect with her Secret Big Sister.

Ways you can participate

Make sure your daughter has received her nugget card box. This special box is a place for her to keep all of her cards.
Please remind your daughter to get her nugget card each month.
Read the card with your daughter, encourage her as God leads you and say a prayer of thanks and blessings for her “Secret Big Sister”

The box and cards will be at the SBS station located in children’s worship.

Pray that she hears what God has for her to share.
Encourage her throughout the month, reminding her that what she has to share is truly valuable.
